Tyrone Sergio - Bonina & Bonina, P.C.: The Med Law Team

A native of Staten Island Tyrone now resides in Berkeley Heights, New Jersey with his wife and four children. After attending Monsignor Farrell High School, Ty graduated from Villanova University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.

After graduating from Villanova, Ty interned with the Richmond County District Attorney’s Office, eventually becoming a Trial Preparation Assistant in the Office of the Special Narcotics Prosecutor. After two and a half years as a “T.P.A.” with the Special Narcotics Prosecutor’s office, Ty entered Brooklyn Law School.

While at BLS Ty came to Bonina & Bonina, working in both the General Liability Unit and the Medical Malpractice Unit as a law student. After graduation he began working as an attorney on
the Medical Malpractice unit.

Since his admittance to the bar in 1997, Ty has been a valuable asset to the firm. His tireless preparation and tenacity have
earned him an excellent reputation. He has obtained numerous favorable dispositions and verdicts, including a million dollar
verdict in a trip and fall case and multiple six figure verdicts in medical malpractice cases.
